Correction, September 14, 2002 Lowen Schuett, we have just learned, is Assistant Parks Chief at the Michigan DNR, not Chief, as we reported earlier. Vicki Anthes is Acting Chief. We regret any confusion this error may have caused. The Parks and Recreation Bureau is currently searching for a new chief. You might remember that the former Parks Chief, Rod Stokes, friend of the park, retired earlier this year. We'll keep you posted as we learn more details.
