Construction of Pumping Station at VanBuren State Park

Van Buren State Park. Construction sight for the pumping station. Van Buren is much flatter and less rustic than Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Among the DNR’s Parks and Recreation Bureau’s concerns about the pumping station proposed for Saugatuck Dunes State Park are high-risk erosion area, critical dunes (Read their April 11 letter), and "significant and permanent negative impacts to this dune system."
